Both large and small companies subcontract metallurgical testing for many reasons. We have many routine clients where we act as their internal claims / warranty engineers. These engineers rely on our metallurgical team to rapidly solve product problems from the field or internally during production.
Client Resolution Support
ASAP Metal Testing is the only provider of metallurgical services that includes a live video conference call with your client’s customer if there is some dispute or lack of understanding concerning the report findings. This is offered for many reasons:
- We feel it is our job (when necessary) to further explain a report’s findings to your client. We provide so there is complete understanding by all parties of what caused the failure.
- The conclusions and technical data are discussed so that all parties understand and agree with the report findings. This allows for mutual agreement concerning what company is financially responsible for payment of any parts on hold or rework expenses.
- We do not expect our clients to explain the test report conclusions to their client. That is our job.
